The Carmel Fire and Police Departments and the Carmel Advisory Committee on Disability have launched the Specific Response Registry Form, The registry is voluntary and is designed to provide advanced notice to emergency response personnel of a resident that may have difficulty leaving quickly in the event of an emergency or that may require a specific response due to a number of reasons. Those reasons can include physical, mental, medical, sensory or intellectual disability.

The form is available at http://www.carmel.in.gov/department-services/fire/forms-and-applications and there is a printable option if residents refer to fill it out and deliver it to the Carmel Fire Department Headquarters at 2 Civic Square.
